Discussing an M.A. Thesis at Kerbala University Concerning the Practical and Numerical Study of the Characteristics of the Bead Layer of Tyre

Faculty of Engineering- Kerbala University has discussed an M.A. thesis concerning the Practical and Numerical Study of the Characteristics of the Bead Layer using Abacus programmee so as to examine the effect of adjusting the tyre when it is moving. Being prepared by Dalya Talib Jazaa and submitted to Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, the study aims at assessing the method of pretention of the tyre by shedding different stresses on the wire made of it and knowing the impact on mechanical properties in practice, and analyzing the data under the influence of pre-tensioning the wires. It also deals with the possibility of improving the mechanical properties of the wires once there is an increase of force on it. . this has been done practically with experiments conducted at the General Company of Babylon Tyres Manufacture. The study ends up with the recommendation that the method of pre-tensioning layers of wire should be similar to that layer so as to improve its features, which may not been taken into consideration previously.
