The College of Education for Human Science at Karbala University has discussed the M.A. thesis entitled (Management of Organizational Conflict and its Relation with the Productive Character of School Principals from the Teachers’ Viewpoint).
The study which has been presented by the student Mortada Zaki Kamel Al-Tamimi deals with the management of organizational conflict among school principals from the teachers’ viewpoint and the extent of the methods of conflict management methods among principals according to the gender variable of the character produced by school principals and the gender variable male / female.
The discussion shows that school principals enjoy a high level of ability to manage organizational conflict, that males have a greater ability to use the method of cooperation and the method of mediating in managing organizational conflict, and one the most common methods among females is the method of waiver and finally the method of competition.
The discussion recommends that the Ministry of Education should conduct field studies from one period to another to determine the different levels of conflict, and work on developing the improper aspect of a personality for administrators to be of equal personalities and the need for school principals to use the method of cooperation when managing organizational conflicts.
