Kerbala University Announcing its Advanced and Distinguishing Achievements in the Crisis of Coronavirus

 Under the supervision of the governor of Kerbala, Engineer Nassif Al-Khattabi, and in the presence of the advanced medical staff from the Kerbala Health Department, the University of Kerbala announces its advanced and distinguishes achievements in light of the emerging crisis of the Coronavirus.

    During the visit of the Governor of Kerbala to see the achievements of the University of Kerbala for the purpose of handing it over to the Kerbala Health Department, the University President, Prof. Dr. Basim Al-Saidi, says that the University will not stop providing its products of scientific and service achievements to help the service departments in the province for the purpose of facing the Corona pandemic. He explains that in the challenges miracles are born and what is seen today in what the gentlemen researchers at our university are doing in all scientific specializations to contribute and reduce the crisis and effects of COVID 19 .

     Al-Saidi adds that the accomplished materials included the production of a server robot that moves with the remote control to distribute services to rooms intended for health isolation to protect doctors and nurses in the first line of prevention from infection and the electronic ventilator, and the device sterilization and sterilization tools used by doctors and nurses and the manual sterilization device as well as protective masks and the electronic device as as to sterilize hands, it is placed in the gates of departments which are accomplished by professors in the Faculty of Engineering in addition to six types of sterile materials initiated by the Department of Chemistry at the College of Education for Pure Sciences,

      On the other hand, the governor appreciates the efforts exerted by the University of Kerbala, Presidency, Deanships, and Professors, which are in the interest of addressing the spread of the Corona pandemic, calling for providing more to contribute to meeting the needs of health and service departments, emphasizing on providing all the capabilities and facilities necessary to produce these devices and providing lists of materials needed by researchers at the university in order to provide them by the governorate in order to manufacture more medical equipment and sterilization materials that have become scarce in the markets and health institutions,

    The Director General of Holy Kerbala Health, Dr. Sabah Al-Musawi, states that the ability of scientific staff at the University of Kerbala to be creative and present achievements is a source of pride for us, in what has been accomplished of the staff of the Faculties of Engineering and Education for Pure Sciences  as well. They present as support to the Health Department of medical devices and sterilization materials as well as studies  and scientific research in limiting the spread of the new Coronavirus and providing health institutions with the needs according to the scientific and technical capabilities available to them,
