The Faculty of Administration and Economics at the University of Kerbala has discussed the study of the Higher Diploma in Investment Economics entitled “The Impact of Investment in the telecommunications sector on the Economic Growth, Iraq as a Case Study”. It has been presented by the student Wameed Kareem Abd Al-Rahim
The study aims at measuring the impact of investment in the telecommunications sector on economic growth in Iraq (2004-2019).
The research clarifies the concept of economic growth, its limits, types and the most important theories. It shows the relationship between investment and economic growth. It also measures and analyzes the relationship between investment in the telecommunications sector and economic growth, by analyzing the reality of communications in Iraq
The study confirms that there is a direct relationship between the gross domestic product (GDP) of the previous year and the (GDP) of the current year.
