Kerbala University holds the 15th scientific conference under the slogan (the Iraqi economy between the Challenges of the Reformation and the Consequences of COVID-19)

Under the supervision of the President of Kerbala University, Prof. Dr. Bassem Khalil Nile Al-Saedi, the Faculty of Administration and Economics, in cooperation with the Holy Shrine of Husseiniya, has held the 15th scientific conference for economic sciences. The conference has been attended by a number of researchers from different universities.
The conference aims at studying the reality of the Iraqi economy and shedding light on the challenges faced so as to suggest a remedy that would contribute to developing the Iraqi economy.
Al-Saedi state that conference is an urgent necessity which would develop effective solutions of the current situation, especially Iraq since it is qualified to be an advanced country in terms of development and growth.
The Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Alaa Farhan Talib, says that the conference is interested in employing economic sciences in reforming the Iraqi economy and facing the challenges of covid-19. The conference includes the following axes: the economic, the administrative, the financial and banking, the accounting and the statistical,
The conference has been attended by Dr. Mazhar Muhammad Salih, the representative of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Yassin Al-Ithawi, Deputy Minister, and the Member of Parliament, Dr. Riyad Al-Masoudi, the Governor of Kerbala; Eng. Nassif Al-Khattabi, and a number of representatives of the holy shrines and civil society organizations.
