The Faculty of Education for Pure Sciences at Kerbala University, in cooperation with the German University / Faculty of Pharmacy and Biotechnology in the Arab Republic of Egypt, has organized a scientific symposium entitled (henna the  mysterious and magnificent plant: A brief discussion of its biological activity and active constitutes ) .
The symposium has been presented by Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Shazly – the German University/Faculty of Pharmacy and Biotechnology/Arab Republic of Egypt and Prof. Dr. Yasmine Khudair Khalaf – Kerbala University / Faculty of Education for Pure Sciences. It has delivered electronically via the Google meet platform,
The symposium aims at raising awareness of the importance of plants and herbs and their uses as safe alternatives to chemical treatments.
The symposium deals with the active ingredients of the henna plant, as well as the therapeutic properties of this plant in treating infections because it contains many effective compounds that have a role in eliminating infections of various kinds.
