Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Honors University of Kerbala for Achieving Competitive Outcomes within Times Higher Education World University Rankings

Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research honored University of Kerbala for achieving a competitive rank (+1501) within Times World rankings, in presence of Minister of Higher Education, presidents of Iraqi universities, and academics from inside and outside Iraq.
This has done during ceremony held by Ministry of Higher Education / Faculty of Information / University of Baghdad to celebrate (13) Iraqi universities, including University of Kerbala, which has achieved competitive outcomes within Times classification in 2024 , in which Iraq has achieved rank (37) in the world for the first time in its academic history.
Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, expresses his appreciation for this achievement and its indicators achieved in fields of teaching, research environment, international outlook, and industry income. He congratulates University of Kerbala, its teaching staff, researchers, students, and employees for obtaining this scientific achievement.
For his part, the President of University of Kerbala, Prof. Dr. Basim K. Nile, stresses that fruits of this achievement resulted from distinguished efforts of the university team, and the university is continuing to develop its scientific capabilities in order to achieve its goals in line with advanced global experiences.
