President of University of Kerbala, Prof. Dr. Basem K. Nile, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Najm Abdul Hussein, Vice president for Scientific affairs, have participated in activities of Al-Kafeel Information Technology Forum, which is organized by Al-Ameed University.
The forum aims at shedding light on technological and technical achievements, and present a set of software solutions and systems that serve society, while it includes scientific workshops and specialized exhibitions.
Prof. Dr. Basem K Nile says that the forum represents an Iraqi achievement that contains many software and technologies that can be used in the state’s health and educational institutions and other institutions, noting that there is a cooperation with Al-Kafeel Center of Abbasid Shrine for purpose of preparing an integrated digital program for University of Kerbala , so as to manage the educational process at the university and will be launched soon.
For his part, Vice President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Najm Abdul Hussein, states that University of Kerbala has begun to move towards activating the work of electronic system in cooperation with Abbasid Shrine, through completion of electronic Al-Siraj system, which will facilitate completion of many administrative processes such as student registration processes, fixing annual quest, rates, and promotions. He explains that University of Kerbala works within framework of a memorandum of cooperation that has already signed between the university and Abbas shrine including many paragraphs that could be in the interest of both parties.
