President of University of Kerbala, Prof. Dr. Basim K. Nile represents Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the eighteenth scientific and cultural week organized by Ahl Al Bayt University.
Prof. Dr. Basim K. Nile says that Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research emphasizes development of research and scientific products and their quality in universities, increasing their global impact and providing appropriate financial support for research environment, directing academics to honor distinguished researchers in field of solid international publishing.
He adds that government universities are open to private education and have sought to build bridges of scientific communication with private universities because they believe that their outputs aims at serving society.
The organization of the eighth cultural and scientific week, which is held under patronage of Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, is in coincidence with occasion of the twenty-year anniversary of establishing of Ahl Al Bayt University, in Iraq.
The conference activities have been attended by President of University of Kerbala, Prof. Dr. Basim K. Nile , representing Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, official and academic figures, as well as a number of interested persons and students.
Activities end up with honoring President of University of Kerbala with Shield of Excellence in appreciation of his efforts in serving scientific process.
