University of Kerbala
The Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Kerbala has held a virtual scientific workshop entitled (the effect of Coronavirus on the cells lining the lung), in which it has be presented by lect. Hassanein Jawad Abdul Hussain, in the presence of a group of teachers and employees from outside and inside the college through the Zoom electronic platform.
The workshop includes an introductory introduction about coronavirus, how to catch it, prevent it, and the importance of home quarantine, in addition to clarifying important information related to the life of the citizen in dealing with this dangerous lethal virus and the most important preventive measures followed in the event of anyone being infected with it.
The aim of the workshop is to learn ways that Corona virus coexists in the environment, methods of transmission, and how to prevent it and limit its spread.
The workshop covers the anatomy of the virus and how it penetrates the epithelial lining of the pulmonary vesicles, damages the entire tissue, and stops the functioning of the functional organs of respiration and the blood system.
