Lect. Thanaa Ghani Nema and Asst. Lect. Hamsa Zaki Al-Assadi have published their paper which is entitled” “Management of defective composite restoration (repair or replace: a survey study among Iraqi dentists” in the Biochemical and cellular archives Journal.
The study is based on questionnaire consisting of 16 questions which has been designed and sent to 200 graduated dentists, seeking information about the management of partially defected composite restoration (repair vs. replacement).
This study aim at evaluating the familiarity and the practices of Iraqi dentists regarding the repair of partially defected composite restoration rather than complete replacement.
The value of the study lies in the idea that patients accept composite repair as an alternative solution that reduced the cost and time. The concept of composite repair is not familiar or well accepted among Iraqi dental graduates, and their knowledge depend on clinical experience
