University of Kerbala being Selected as National Model for Buildings and Facilities Management Program

Outperforming Iraqi Universities, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces selection of University of Kerbala as a pioneering application model for Buildings and Facilities Management Program. This step comes within framework of enhancing efficiency of infrastructure and developing resource management mechanisms within educational institutions.
On his part, President of the University Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, states that this selection is a qualitative achievement that reinforces a distinguished position in fields of planning, management, and development.
He points out that the program aims at managing and operating all university buildings (classrooms, laboratories, administrative offices, libraries, student housing, sports and service halls) using modern electronic systems that facilitate maintenance, energy management, and implementation of safety and security standards.
Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali appreciates this achievement, explaining that the selection of University of Kerbala as a national model for Buildings and Facilities Management Program reflects great efforts made by the staff to establish principles of institutional efficiency and employ modern technology to serve the educational process.
