Achieving a significant milestone for the first time in its academic history University of Kerbala has officially classified within list of top 100 Arab universities, according to 2025 Arab University Rankings (ARU),
The university occupied the 99th in Arab world, ranking it in “gold category” of Arab universities for the first time. It also has the 11th among Iraqi public and private universities, and 9th among Iraqi public universities.
The ranking report highlights the University’s excellence in several indicators, including scientific research, teaching, and learning, which contributed to this progress and its prominent competitive position among established public universities.
This achievement is an outcome of organized institutional efforts that enabled the university to attain a high ranking level Arabiclly and regionally , giving chance for academic partnerships, attracting talent, and expediting institutional accreditation requirements.
Keeping pace with framework of ongoing development plans of the university, University of Kerbala aims at improving its performance and educational process and taking serious steps to achieve advanced ranks within regional and international classifications.
