University of Kerbala Discussing a PhD Dissertation entitled Synthesis of Urea_ Containing Fragments of Natural Origin and their Isosteric Analogues

To be submitted by Saif Muhammad Hassan Abbas. College of Science / University of Kerbala has discussed the Ph.D dissertation which is entitled “Synthesis of Urea_ Containing Fragments of Natural Origin and their Isosteric Analogues”.
The study highlights physical properties of these compounds, in terms of melting point and solubility in water, as well as testing their biological effectiveness as inhibitors of some enzymes associated with high blood pressure and neuralgia associated with inflammation.
The results demonstrate a high inhibitory capacity of new compounds at specific concentrations, with high solubility in water.
The dissertation recommends continuing work on synthesis of urea compounds containing so-called natural “bornyl” fragments, given their outstanding effectiveness and promising physical properties.
