University of Kerbala Discussing an M.A on Measuring and Analyzing the Impact of some Macroeconomic Variables on Tourism Development Indicators in Selected Countries, with Special Reference to Iraq

Faculty of Administration and Economics / University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A. thesis which is entitled “measuring and analyzing the impact of some macroeconomic variables on tourism development indicators in selected countries, with special reference to Iraq.”
The thesis, prepared by Donia Mohi Fadel Al-Awadi, includes measuring and analyzing the impact of some macroeconomic variables on tourism development indicators with the possibility and extent of their contribution to achieving comprehensive tourist development since tourism development is an integral part of comprehensive development.
The study aims at diagnosing the most important indicators and forms of tourist development process and enriching the subject of tourism development in addition to the nature of impact of some macroeconomic variables on these indicators and measuring and analyzing them theoretically and scientifically in tourism development process of the sample countries.
The study concludes that tourist development is an important tool of economic development and shares with it as they aim for optimal use of resources, and there is a set of indicators used to measure the extent to which the planned standards are achieved in this process.
