University of Kerbala Discussing an M.A Thesis entitled Evolution levels of some immunological Markers in Patients with urinary tract Infections and its Association with Levels of zinc and Vitamin D

College of Science/University of Kerbala has discusses the M.A thesis which is entitled ” Evolution levels of some immunological Markers in Patients with urinary tract Infections and its Association with Levels of zinc and Vitamin D”.
The study, submitted by Asmaa Faisal Rawdan / Department of Biology, aims at estimating level of IgG, IgM, TLR2 and TLR4 in blood serum in cases of urinary tract infection.
The study focuses on immune aspect of infection by studying some factors of innate and adaptive immunity and their relationship to zinc and vitamin D.
The study recommends the need to conduct an in-depth study on the importance of immunity against urinary tract infections, especially against highly virulent bacteria such as Escherichia coli.
