Being submitted by Furat Hamid Kadhim- Department of Chemistry- College of Science -University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A. thesis which is entitled ” Green Synthesis of Cerium Oxide Nanoparticles using Citrus Aurantium Extract “
It deals with new green variation of cerium oxide using Citrus Aurantium Extract, as an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional one.
The study aims at synthesizing nanoparticles effective in removing eosin yellow dye from water, using ethanol and hexane extracts. The results demonstrate the highest adsorption efficiency under optimal conditions, and success of reaction as a second-order endothermic process.
The thesis recommends adopting green methods of manufacturing nanomaterials, given their environmental benefits, and emphasizes the need to support research in this promising area of sustainable technology.
