University of Kerbala Discussing an M.A Thesis entitled Physiological and Histological Effects of Orlistat and efficiency Extract of Cinnamon on functions in Obese Male Rats

 

College of Veterinary Medicine – University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A. thesis which is entitled ” Physiological and Histological Effects of Orlistat and efficiency Extract of Cinnamon on functions in Obese Male Rats “.
The study, presented by Banan Aad Abd, aims at determining harmful effects of orlistat on kidney tissue in male mice with hyperlipidemia, and evaluating its antioxidant properties.
The study concludes that cinnamon extract improved lipid levels in mice that ate a high-fat diet, and also reduces activity of liver enzymes.
