University of Kerbala Discussing an M.A Thesis entitled” Response of Hibiscus Sabdariffa Linn to Nitrogen and Potassium Fertilization and their Impact on Growth Characteristics, Yield and Active Substance

Faculty of Agriculture/ University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A thesis which is entitled (The response of Hibiscus sabdariffa L to nitrogen and potassium fertilization and their impact on growth characteristics, yield and active substance). It is presented by Moataz Abdel Kadhim Shaker. It includs four chapters, namely introduction, review of references , materials and methods of work, results and discussion.
The study aims at studing the effect of different levels of nitrogen and potassium fertilizers, as well as determining the effect of the fertilizers and their interaction on the growth and yield of leeks, in addition to specify the best combination of nitrogen and potassium fertilizers to obtain the highest yield of yield and active substances.
The study concludes that high fertilizer additions achieve the highest indicators of growth and yield, but cause a decrease in some effective compounds.
