Faculty of Nursing / University of Kerbala has discussed the impact of an educational programme on nurses’ knowledge and attitudes about high blood pressure during pregnancy in primary health care centers. It is presented by Amal Fadhil Nouri Radhi.
The study aims at evaluating the effectiveness of educational programme on nurses’ knowledge and attitudes towards high blood pressure resulting from pregnancy in primary health care centers in the holy city of Karbala and assessing the need for such programme with determining its impact on nurses’ knowledge and attitudes in addition to determine the relationship between the impact of educational program and their demographic characteristics.
The study recommends providing educational and training programmes for nurses on a regular basis in order to improve their knowledge of pregnancy diseases, and holding educational lectures for nurses in primary health care centers and hospitals and updating them to help nurses in spreading health awareness in order to maintain the health of the pregnant woman and reduce mortality rates.
