Faculty of Islamic Sciences / University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A thesis which is entitled (Aesthetics of Qur’anic Description in Encyclopedia of Signatures of Imam Al-Mahdi (pbuh)). It is presented by Hassan Rasoul Moien.
The thesis aims at studying aesthetics of Qur’anic description in Encyclopedia of Signatures of Imam Al-Mahdi and the implications for human behaviour.
The study shows that the description is of great importance in drawing a clear vision of the described things, which paves the way for judging them by acceptance or rejection , and when the work is aesthetic, the description takes a very important exceptional function, because feature of aesthetic judgment needs accuracy and clarity.
The thesis deals with hadiths of Imam al-Mahdi (may God accelarate his appearance), which includes in (Encyclopedia of hadiths of Imam al-Mahdi, peace be upon him), has not being studied because it is an encyclopedia that is recently achieved in Persian language and then translated and printed in Arabic recently, and His honorable hadiths (peace be upon him) are available. On a large amount of Quranic description.
The study emphasizes the importance of knowing the aesthetics inherent in texts of hadiths that included in the encyclopedia, based on the epistemological features of the text, not just the artistic features, based on the categories of aesthetic knowledge criticism.
