University of Kerbala Discussing an M.A Thesis on Analysis of Indicators of Burden, Efficiency, and Productivity and their Impact on Bank Liquidity

College of Administration and Economics /  University of Kerbala has discussed the  M.A thesis which is entitled “analysis of indicators (burden – efficiency – productivity) and their impact on banking liquidity – an analytical study in a sample of Iraqi commercial banks listed on  Iraqi Stock Exchange for the period 2004-2023”.

    The study,  presented by Sarah Hassan Abdel-Hay, aims at showing trend of (burden-efficiency-productivity) indicators in Iraqi banking environment and determining  relationship between  (burden-efficiency-productivity) indicators with bank liquidity.

    The study concludes that  Investment Bank achieved the lowest banking burden ratio and the highest efficiency among the banks in under study.

 The study recommends the need to push banks to diversify revenues and not rely on interest income only to face increasing competition and emergency circumstances.
