University of Kerbala Discussing an M.A Thesis on Corrosion Inhibitors

Faculty of Education for Pure Sciences / University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A. thesis which is entitled ” Application and Theoretical Study: New Barbiturate derivatives as Corrosion Inhibitors”.
The study aims at synthesis and characterization characterizing new barbiturate derivatives that contain heterogeneous atoms in their structure, such as atoms (sulfur, nitrogen, and oxygen), which are important in field of corrosion.
The study recommends the need to expand the scope of work in future to include studying corrosion of an alloy of carbon steel in an acidic medium, H2SO4, with a 1M solution, in order to conclude and obtain extensive information about the nature of corrosion of this alloy.
