Faculty of Administration and Economics / University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A thesis which is entitled “estimating fuzzy reliability function of Alpha Power kappa distribution : A Practical Study”.
The study, presented by Maryam Sadiq Al-Naqqash, aims at obtaining a new probability distribution that is believed to be highly flexible in representing real data, by adding a new shape parameter to basic distribution.
The thesis concludes that estimator of maximum potential method of parameters and reliability function of proposed distribution (APTk) is the best estimator for all selected sample sizes.
The study recommends expanding dealing with fuzzy logic through the use of other fuzzy functions due to large number of ambiguous phenomena, as fuzziness is a solution to ambiguity.
