College of Science / University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A thesis which is entitled “evaluation of some Immunological and Biochemical Parameters in Patients with Ischemic Heart Disease”.
The thesis, submitted by Zainab Muhammad Nema aims at finding out relationships between immune and biochemical parameters and their impact on development of ischemic heart disease.
The study includes measuring immunological and biochemical parameters of patients with ischemic heart disease in Karbala Governorate. It is also finds out that there is a relationship between vital indicators, lipid levels and immune indicators.
The thesis shows that evaluating other biochemical parameters and knowing their relationship to ischemic heart disease as well as verifying potential interaction between the studied biomarkers and genetic diversity in patients with ischemic heart disease.
The study concludes that there is a relationship between immune and biochemical parameters and the onset of disease, and that levels of immune parameters are more accurate in predicting ischemic heart disease than blood lipid concentrations.
