Faculty of Education for Human Sciences – University of Kerbala has discussion the M.A thesis which is entitled (Tourism in Musayyib District – Possibilities and Problems).
The importance of the study stems from shedding light on the most important natural and human components of tourist attraction and its obstacles in Musayyib district.
The study aims at highlighting natural and human tourism components of the district and its economic and social importance, which allows decision makers to make decisions that serve development process in general.
The study concludes that Musayyib district has diverse natural, religious and historical tourism potential, and that the study area is a corridor for visitors intending to visit holy shrines in Najaf and Karbala and coming from central and southern governorates of Iraq, making it a tourist attraction area.
