Faculty of Veterinary Medicine / University of Kerbala, in cooperation with Faculty of Medicine and Imam Hussein Hospital (peace be upon him), has organized an awareness seminar on breast cancer and ways to diagnose it, in presence of a number of professors and employees of the Faculty.
The educational symposium addresses definition of breast cancer, its most important symptoms, methods of diagnosis and treatment, in addition to identifying the most important factors that help increase incidence of infection, such as family history.
The participants praise the efforts made by the Faculty and lecturers to raise awareness of seriousness of this disease, and educate women of the necessity of following recommendations that contribute to detect the infection early.
