University of Kerbala
Faculty of Dentistry – University of Kerbala has organized a course which is entitled “pathological effects of obesity”, with participation of a number of professors and researchers.
The course includes definition of obesity, weight classification, genetic obesity diseases, associated pathogenesis and methods of treating obesity.
The course aims at showing the seriousness of obesity and the increase in disease rate, especially for children.
The course recommends the creating a programme so as to combat the disease and the holding seminars, courses, television programme to warn people of the damage and diseases associated with obesity.
