College of Pharmacy, University of Kerbala organizes a scientific course which is entitled “detection of microRNA molecules using Stem-Loop technology and its applications in diagnostic and therapeutic medicine.

Being delivered by Dr. Hassan Abu Al-Maali and Dr. Hussein Al-Har, the course addresses the role of microRNA as biomarkers in early detection of cancer and neurological diseases, as well as their use in evaluating effectiveness of drugs within field of pharmacogenomics.
It also focuses on cancer cell resistance to treatment and regulation of gene expression, while enhancing participants’ skills in Stem-Loop RT-qPCR, one of the most accurate methods in this field.
