University of Kerbala Holding a Training Course entitled Honey Bees, their Products, their Pests

Faculty of Agriculture / University of Kerbala, within mechanism of scientific cooperation between Directorate of Agriculture and participation of Beekeepers Association, has held a training course which is entitled (Honey bees, their products, their pests), with the participation of a number of interested and researchers.
The course aims at knowing the importance of honey bees and their important products, as well as knowing the pests that destroy bees.
The course focuses on the importance of providing the basic factors of success of this profession and how to limit or reduce pests and diseases that bees are exposed to in order to improve the reality of bees in Iraq in general and the Holy Karbala in particular.
Dean of the Faculty , Dr. Thamer Al-Janabi, says that the faculty works within a scientific and practical curriculum that is concerned with discussing the positive effects of agricultural sector and livestock, and the course deals with the most important aspects of honey bees and methods of producing and developing production and reducing harmful pests that affect beekeeping projects in Karbala.
