Faculty of Dentistry /University of Kerbala has held a workshop which is entitled Art of isolation, with participation of third and fourth stage students.
The workshop includes a detailed explanation of importance of using a rubber dam in work and how to use it in various ways and situations, as well as a detailed explanation of its components and its use in correct way to achieve isolation in front and back teeth.
The workshop is presented by Lect.Thanaa Ghani Nema and Lect. Hamsa Zaki Al-Asadi. It aims at introducing students to importance of a rubber barrier and achieving complete isolation during making fillings and root fillings, in addition to how to use it with the best steps and apply it practically on phantom heads that simulate a realistic human mouth.
