Asst. Prof Dr. Ahmed Fadhil Al-Masoudi, College of Education for Humanities, has published a book which is entitled: Leadership Imamate in Imam Hussein’s Thought.
The book includes an introduction, a preface, three chapters, and a conclusion. The preface includes a discussion of the concept of imamate and leadership and their details in Islamic sects. The first chapter deals with Imam Hussein’s notion of leadership in establishing religious dimension in society. The second chapter is devoted to study the leadership role in building society. The third one focuses on Imam Hussein’s imamate and political leadership.
At that time, the author states that the book aims at knowing the extent of the role played by Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) in leading society.
