President of University of Kerbala Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali receives an academic delegation from Imam Reza University of Iran, including Dr. Adel Qazi Khani and Dr. Kaveh Akbarzadeh. The visit is part of the university’s efforts to strengthen its scientific partnerships with regional and international institutions.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Wajid emphasizes the university’s commitment to develop its academic relations with Iranian universities, particularly Imam Reza University, given its extensive experience in humanities, Islamic studies, and scientific research.
Dr. Wajid points out that the university is working on establishing cooperation, including scientific exchanges, joint supervision, and collaborative applied research, as well as faculty and student exchanges, so as to enhance academic programs.
The delegation affirms readiness to sign scientific memoranda of understanding that support joint research projects and provide broader opportunities for academic integration between the two institutions.
