University of Kerbala Holds a Scientific Lecture on Sustainable Development

Being delivered by Iraqi scientist Prof. Adel Sharif Al-Husseini, who is one of the most prominent scientists in the world and Iraq, having (25) patents and awarded British Queen’s Award for Water Research, the lecture addresses the importance of science and technology in addressing various climate and environmental challenges, including those in fields of energy, water, food, and health, by relying on technology, which is characterized by its speed of implementation, impartiality, and low error rates.
Prof. Adel Sharif Al-Husseini adds that employing technology to solve various problems reduces their complexity and provides quick and effective solutions.
He also discusses the role of artificial intelligence and information it provides in achieving sustainable development, leading to a society free of poverty, disease, and various challenges that hinder the achievement of sustainable development.
In cooperation with University of Kerbala, he emphasizes that there is a chance to make agreement to benefit from others’ experiences to create a climate of academic communication and complete projects related to water, the environment, and energy.
