University of Kerbala Holds its First Careers Conference 2025

College of Engineering, University of Kerbala organizes its first Careers Conference 2025, with participation of a number of researchers, specialists, businessmen, and company owners in private and public sectors.
In his speech, President of University of Kerbala Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali says that this conference is the first forum of its kind in Iraq for innovators and creators. He notes that it is a true platform for building bridges between graduate students and private sector business owners.
Actually, it represents an important step toward instilling culture of entrepreneurship and innovation among young graduate students.
Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali adds that this conference highlights the role of universities in supporting entrepreneurship and charting clear. He indicates that University of Kerbala is working on qualifying students and graduate students and toward career paths that keep pace with market demands and needs.
Eng. Nassif Al-Khattabi, Karbala Governor, states that local government partners with University of Kerbala in all scientific initiatives that support construction, reconstruction, and development movement and address major challenges. He explains that the conference is a platform for opening up avenues of cooperation with private sector and embracing expertise and innovations of the graduate students.
Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Haider Nadhim Al-Muhanna, remarks that the conference aims at opening up avenues of cooperation between the college and companies and public and private institutions, so as to provide an interactive environment for students and graduate students to showcase their skills and increase employment opportunities in various engineering disciplines. He adds that the conference addressed topics such as entrepreneurship in the time of modern technology, artificial intelligence and the future of workforce, modern technology and environmental sustainability.
