College of Education for Human Science / University of Kerbala hosted a delegation from the British Institute for the Study of Iraq, along with Karbala Center for Studies and Research, Organizing a scientific symposium on Karbalai scholars’ history.
Dean of College of Education for Human Science, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid, highlights the scientific movement in the governorate and the role of universities in reviving Karbalai scholars’ historical status, pointing out the importance of professors’ and researchers’ efforts to write about this topic.
For his part, director of Karbala Center for Studies and Research, Abdul Amir Al-Quraishi, reviews historical sequence of scientific movement in Karbala, and the role of seminaries in spreading the prophet’s household sciences in various parts of the world.
The symposium presents of a number of research papers by professors at the British Institute for the Study of Iraq, Dr. Robert Cliffe, Dr. Bianca Speidel, and Dr. Kamil Rajani, which deal with Karbalai scholars’ history : an analytical study.
The attendees have been honored with shields and certificates of appreciation for their scientific efforts to organize academic events.
