University of Kerbala
Faculty of Veterinary Medicine – University of Kerbala has organized a training course in cooperation with Public Health Branch, entitled (Methods and Types of Surgical Sutures), in which Dr. Ali Jassim Jaafar, Lect. Falah Mahmoud Hamid and Asst. Lect. Haider Muhammad Mohsin, deliver it with the participation of a number of students and researchers.
The training course aims at teaching participants about surgical sutures, as well as learning types of sutures, their uses, and benefits and disadvantages of each type.
It includes the most important methods used to sew wounds in animals, advantages of each method, and the types of surgical sutures used.
The course stresses the need to pay attention to health and therapeutic methods in dealing with wounds or surgical operations of animals of all kinds.
