Faculty of Agriculture / University of Kerbala has organized a panel discussion on clean agriculture: roots of past for fruits of future, with participation of researchers and specialists.
The seminar aims at demonstrating the importance of clean agriculture by adopting an integrated agricultural system that relies on natural materials without resorting to or using any chemical fertilizers and pesticides to reduce health risks for pesticide users and obtain a safe and healthy product free of pesticide residues or any other pollutants that may harm environment or human beings, preserving non-loss of nutrients from the soil, improving soil fertility, and increasing biodiversity.
The seminar includes an exchange of views and proposals to benefit from previous experiences in this matter.
Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thamer Kareem Khudair, says that the faculty always seeks to improve its scientific outputs.
