University of Kerbala
Strategic Studies Center / University of Kerbala has organized a scientific symposium which is entitled: (Empowering Women Economically, Socially, and Religiously), with participation of a number of researchers and specialists.
The symposium aims at demonstrateing the importance of women in society and mechanism of empowering them in decision-making, whether in economic, social or religious field.
The symposium deals with the importance of empowering women socially, as an important pillar in upbringing and building of society, whether in family education or in educational process, and working on improving and enhancing women’s participation in economic activity.it also contributes to achievie economic growth and stability in societies.
The symposium shows the importance of empowering women in building a Muslim society, as they are an influential element in goodness of society through their adherence to their chastity and commitment to Sharia rule, as they are able to create the atmosphere of a good society.
The symposium recommends the importance of improving women’s participation in the labour market, by increasing training opportunities for women, providing them with lending facilities, encouraging traditional industries as successful job opportunities for women, supporting them financially and skillfully.
