College of Education for Humanities, University of Kerbala holds a symposium on “Poverty and Social Justice in Teachings of Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).”
Being presented by Dr. Muslim Sadiq Hadi, the symposium addresses reality of poverty from perspective of Ahlulbayt’s narrations, explaining how poverty can sometimes be a trial, and at other times a consequence of human actions. It also discusses the poor’s status of in Hereafter and emphasizes the importance of not mocking them, noting that, according to Ahlulbayt’s narrations of the poor.
It aims at promoting social solidarity among members of the community, strengthening bonds of affection, and encouraging the poor concern, and those in distress.
