Department of Biology / College of Education for Pure Sciences / University of Kerbala has organized a training course on how to extract chromosomes from bone marrow.
The course aims at highlighting the nature of chromosomes, their types and structure, and types of numerical and structural chromosomal imbalances and some of the genetic diseases resulting from them.
The course includes explaining method of extracting chromosomes from bone marrow of albino mice using KCl solution, and learning how to extract chromosomes from bone marrow of albino mice.
