To highlight the concept of clean agriculture, College of Agriculture, University of Kerbala holds a training course on eco_friendly agriculture and its importance in horticultural production.
The course, which has been presented by Dr. Harith Mahmoud Aziz, Dr. Abeer Qasim Kadhim, and Asst. Lect. Muntadhar Muhammad Raheef, aims at explaining principles and techniques of clean agriculture, which relies on reducing the use of harmful chemicals, with a focus on their application in horticultural production. Experts also review successful examples of clean agricultural practices that have proven effective in improving production and reducing environmental impact.
Keeping pace with the College’s efforts to raise awareness of adopting sustainable agricultural methods, Dean of College of College of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Kareem, emphasizes that this course shows the significance of clean agriculture techniques to improve crop quality and increasing productivity.
