University of Kerbala
College of Engineering / University of Kerbala has organized a training course on the use of ANSYS program in designing and analyzing forces in manufacturing of prosthetics and orthotics.
The course aims at basics of drawing and learning three-dimensional design using (ANSYS) program for purpose of helping researchers and engineers design the required geometric shapes, analyzing and then manufacturing them.
The course is delivered by Dr. Amer Matroud Omran Dr. Ahmed Qasim and Asst. Lect. Hassanein Abd Aoun Hashim.
The course recommends providing various facilities to students and teaching staff and encouraging them to be in line with developments in field of engineering designs and to choose appropriate materials for each prosthetic or orthotics, as well as knowing design mechanism for each prosthetic and orthotics according to every student or researcher’s needs of in field of prosthetic and orthotics.
