College of Science , University of Kerbala has organized a training course on X-ray diffraction data analysis (XRD), using program known as (X’Pert).
To deal with mechanism of using program to analyze XRD data in a practical and applied manner, the course is based on X-ray diffraction technique as a reliable tool in determining crystalline structure of materials, and as an effective means of calculating grain sizes and evaluating internal pressures, and other physical and chemical properties of materials.
It is worth noting that XRD data analysis technique using X’ Pert program is a method used to determine crystalline structure of solid materials when X-rays fall on crystalline samples, producing distinct diffraction patterns for each material.
