College of Computer Science and Information Technology / University of Kerbala has organized a workshop on the role of education in combating terrorism and extremism.
The workshop aims at explaining extremism and the line between it and terrorism, indicating the importance of the role of educational institution in combating it.
The workshop clarifies the concept of extremism, and addresses manifestations of extremism, as well as how to deal with extremism and means that must be followed.
The participants call for the necessity of holding such workshops to enhance the role of education in combating extremist ideas.
