Faculty of Dentistry/ University of Kerbala had organized a course which is entitled (Analytical Chemistry at Crime Scene), in presence of Dean of the faculty , Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhannad Salah Abdel Sattar, vice Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayed Hamid Al-Moussawi, and a group of faculty and staff of the faculty .
The course includes an introduction to analytical chemistry, its types, and the difference between it and forensic chemistry, as well as development in world of electronics, which helps criminals to hide under this development, and the role of analytical devices in detecting offenders by collecting and analyzing results, as well as methods for collecting samples from places of fires, explosions, and soil. And collect models as a result of gunfire.
The course, which is lectured by Prof. Dr. Abdel-Bari Mahdi Mahoud and Dr. Manal Abdel-Mohammed, aims at introducing analytical chemistry and forensic chemistry, its applications, and the different methods for estimating samples obtained from crime sites.
