University of Kerbala
Faculty of Dentistry / University of Kerbala has organized a course which is entitled (Safety, Chemical and Biological Security), with participation of laboratory employers and first-year students.
The course includes shedding light on laboratory security and safety, explaining security of chemicals and information security, as well as chemical and biological safety, how to safely handle materials and correct storage method. It also deals with identification, response and management of the emergency plan.
The course aims at understanding the risks faced by workers in scientific laboratories and the extent of the awareness and knowledge necessary to manage risks to protect themselves and the environment around them.
