Strategic Studies Center / University of Kerbala, in cooperation with the Human Resources Department at al-Hussainiya Holy Shrine, has organized a scientific symposium on cybercrime, with the participation of researchers and specialists in field of law and cyber security.
The symposium, which is entitled “Cybercrime,” aims at addressing the problems that occur as a result of modern technologies, including cyber extortion.
It includes legal presentation which has been presented by Prof. Dr. Diaa Abdullah Abboud, in which he talks about mechanisms of legislating laws that limit cybercrime.
The second lecture presented by Colonel Ziad Abdel Sahib, Director of Technology and Informatics Department in Karbala, in which he explains the role of Technology and Informatics Department in providing a specialized technical and informational effort, in line with the decisions of the constitution.
The head of the Center, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Yasari, says that this symposium deals with “cybercrime,” which is in an increase in violating the privacy of individuals.
