Faculty of Science / University of Kerbala has organized an in-person training course on environmental and radioactive pollution, risk and methods of prevention, for postgraduate students and a professors of Department of Physics Sciences.
The course aims at identifying environmental pollutants and radiations that cause this pollution
The course includes identifying ionizing radiation, its health effects , prevention measures, determining air pollutants and their relationship to climate changes and types of environmental pollution, and specifying the radioactive radon element, its risks and prevention, uses of X-rays, mobile phone radiation and dangers of using it
