Faculty of Islamic Sciences /University of Kerbala has held a training course on editing manuscripts, with participation of professors and postgraduate students.
The course aims at showing a comprehensive knowledge and application of manuscripts and indicating the scientific methods to achieve them, in addition shedding light on technical methods of publishing manuscripts.
The course emphasizes the need to take care of manuscripts, develop special curricula for manuscript verification, educate students and researchers about manuscript verification in a disciplined manner, and take the initiative to verify manuscripts that have not been investigated before.
The course deals with types of manuscripts and how to preserve them in light of electronic spread and the most important positive aspects of them.
